DJI Inspire 2

DJI has recently launched the DJI Inspire 2. This drone is the big brother of its forerunner; the DJI Inspire 1. The biggest difference is the fact that it has two camera’s.  This actually enables two drone pilots to fly the drone at the same time, how awesome is that. Whilst one drone pilot is flying the drone, another drone pilot can change the direction of the camera’s in order to get an optimal view. Furthermore, the DJI Inspire 2 offer a Video Resolution of 5.2K at 30 FPS and 4K at 60 FPS. With its obstacle avoidance system it can fly in plenty of areas. Although the drone has already been launched, the shipping will start in the beginning of january. So you have to sit tight for a month before you can use this drone. Although the DJI Inspire 2 offer the best high end specifications, it is very costly.

Parrot AR Drone 2.0

We have also chosen to incorporate a cheaper drone in the list, since not everyone has sufficient budget for a high end drone. The Parrot AR Drone 2.0 has a flight time of 36 minutes, when using two HD batteries. It has a foam frame which allows the drone to withstand certain hits and maneuvers. The drone can be controlled by smartphone or tablet, using the FreeFlight application. The video camera has a resolution of 720p at 30fps. All in all, the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 is good for beginners, but it will not be able to do certain jobs as good as the other drones on this list.

Yuneec Typhoon H Pro

Yuneec is a major competitor of DJI. People often compare the Yuneec Typhoon H Pro to the DJI Phantom 4. Although both drones have significant pros and cons, it is up to your own liking which you prefer. The Typhoon H is equipped with 6 rotors and a 360-degree camera. This allows you to capture footage at every angle you desire. Just like the Phantom 4, the Typhoon H has a obstacle avoidance system. The controller allows you to fly it in first person view, since it has an integrated display. This does cause the controller to be quite large, which may be a problem for some people. Also, the drone has a limited flight time of 20 minutes. To wrap it all up, the Yuneec H is a very good replacement for the Phantom 4, both have certain pros and cons.
